The programme is being organized by the Department of Trade & Commerce in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Kolkata.

Arunachal Pradesh has a unique geographical position sharing a long international border with neighboring countries of China, Bhutan and Myanmar and can play a significant role in enhancing the country’s total export, he said and advocated for more steady supply of export –oriented entrepreneurs to materialize the export potential of the state. The more entrepreneurs the state would be having, the faster the potential would be encased, he added.

He further stressed on implementing the ‘Look East Policy’ for the North East to open up the corridors to the South East Asian countries for promoting border trade and transactions to these countries. Arunachal Pradesh should be a party to the Global Village, as India is a partner in the economic growth along with other developed nations, he said.

Stating that Arunachal Pradesh is a virgin state with huge resources, Sena felt the need to combine its human resources with the natural resources/potentialities to prepare a proper road map for promoting the trade and commerce sector.

The state has no history unlike other states, he said and insisted on creating history for the future through proper policies. He said that the people of the state are enthusiastic and ambitious which is obvious from the emerging growth of successful local entrepreneurs and emphasized on tapping the potentials through appropriate investment friendly policies. The Minister further asked to import technology and other financing aspects from other developed nations to maintain the quality of the products. The end is to find the truth

Dear Editor,

We must insist that free oratory is only the beginning of free speech; it is not the end, but a means to an end. The end is to find the truth. The practical justification of civil liberty and opinions of one’s examination is necessity of man. Experience tells us that it is only when freedom of opinion becomes the compulsion to debate that the seed which our forefathers planted has produced its fruit. When this is understood, it is a vent for our opinions but because it is the surest method of correcting them.

Thus, with great opportunity of right to speech, here through your esteemed daily I would like to highlight one of the most explicit dishonest practices that are being practiced on our state.

“After the completion of my course like other unemployed student do I too went through various departmental examinations with full preparation but all in vein, never was in the list of selection.” Therefore feeling shame on my failure, I curse myself many times. There after come across various fed up competitive exams. I got a hint,’ for why we are not selected.’ My inner sense keep on persist me to ask the concern authorities the “REASON WHY?” After the analysis on the recruitment process, I found that most of the Candidates been employed almost belongs to the respective constituency of concern minister and higher authorities of the department.

Thus, I want to ask the Citizens of my state, whether this system of recruitment process is Right or Wrong?

God knows how many poor unemployed Youths have been and might be victims of such scandalous practices. I therefore appeal all the beloved people of my state to raise voice against such malpractices to reforms the system of recruitment process.

Yours

Ngai Rida (Jilen)
